A different way to learn when you're starting out weaving on a rigid heddle loom. This is a very relaxed, unplanned way to weave, and you get a beautiful scarf to wear when you're finished!

Kelly is a self taught weaver with a big passion for sharing the timeless art of weaving with others. Kelly is known for her calm and slow teaching style and she bases her classes on how she would have liked to have been taught. She designs all of her own projects and caters for levels from beginner to intermediate. Most available classes are for the rigid heddle loom, floor, table and inkle loom weaving.
You will need:
a rigid heddle loom - any width is fine as you can adjust your scarf to fit the loom.
a 7.5 to 8 dent heddle
Yarn - you may choose wool, cotton, acrylic, the choice is yours. More details are provided in the notes section of the first lesson.
Tapestry needle (if you choose to hemstitch).
