This section includes a look into my band designing process and everything from making string heddles to hemstitching to weaving a slit in your band.
In part two, we learn all about tubular weaving on the inkle loom.
In part 3 we undertake a more challenging project by exploring the wonderful Baltic pick up. Step by step video instructions are included to help get you started on your inkle pick up journey!

To complete this class you will need:
An inkle loom (regular or inklette size are both fine)
A belt shuttle
String heddles (if you don't have any you will learn to make them)
Scissors, tapestry needle, waste yarn, cardboard or wooden separators
8/2 cotton in a variety of colours. Fingering weight wool (optional).
"Thanks for a wonderful course! I have already used what I learned to design and weave some basic plain-weave bands and a tablet-woven band, and I’m very excited to try Baltic pickup next, having just finished that portion of the course. As usual, your explanations, both verbal and visual, are super-clear and your approach to teaching encouraging and inspiring."
